Our estate
A vine in the city, a vine in the vineyard
This urban-rural duality is a strong feature of our estate, located in Vertou at the gateway to Nantes, in the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation area.
Here, we proudly defend the colors of Nantes wines, cultivating, among other things, Melon de Bourgogne and Folle Blanche, the two grape varieties endemic to the region.
Our organic agriculture is based on the main principles of agroecology. From our grapes, we create wines as free as the Loire and as creative as the city of Nantes.
Our watchword is balance, which we strive to achieve in our soils, our viticulture, our vines, through our wines and the work of those who work alongside us

Throughout the year, we welcome numerous students, interns and researchers, who bring their curiosity and energy to get involved in our farming practices, our winemaking processes and our marketing initiatives.

Every day, we work to reveal our soils and grape varieties in the glass we proudly offer you. Our innovative agro-ecological practices and free-range vinification accompany the long process of transforming grapes into wine, based on the energy of our soils.

Every time we meet you, we share some news about the estate and its development. On a weekly basis, we communicate on social networks, aiming to deliver content that allows readers to understand a little more about the story behind each bottle of wine.
🇫🇷 Enfin... un article d`un grand quotidien qui aborde le sujet des sols avec le sérieux de l`enjeu :
` Les sols jouent un rôle crucial dans le maintien de la vie sur terre... ils produisent 95% de nos aliments et fournissent la quasi-totalité des services et des fonctions écosystémiques qui permettent à la vie d`exister sur terre. `
Au domaine, 100% des sols sont couverts depuis 2021. Sur le papier, le sujet semble simple, mais la mise en pratique demande une rigueur et un travail de précision, secteur par secteur, parcelle par parcelle.
Cependant, cela fait désormais partie de l`ADN de nos pratiques culturales et nous avons conscience de notre rôle de préservation de ce réservoir de biodiversité qui est le support de notre culture.
Nous rêvons d`un temps où les dégustateurs demanderont à voir les sols du vigneron avant de goûter le vin...

🇺🇸 Finally... an article from a major daily newspaper that tackles the subject of soils with the seriousness of the issue:
` Soils play a crucial role in sustaining life on earth... they produce 95% of our food and provide almost all the ecosystem services and functions that enable life to exist on earth. `
On the domaine, 100% of the soil has been covered since 2021. On paper, the subject seems simple, but putting it into practice requires rigor and precision, sector by sector, plot by plot.
However, this is now part of the DNA of our farming practices, and we are aware of our role in preserving the reservoir of biodiversity that supports our crops.
We dream of a time when tasters will ask to see the winemaker`s soils before tasting the wine...

Benoit et Philmari emballent les œuvres vendues et ramènent les restantes dans leur atelier. Le chai retrouve sa fonction originelle !
Les cuves se vident tranquillement. Prochaine mise en bouteille pour Cyrus 2023, notre Melon B., issue de notre parcelle de La Louée, cuvée élevée en jarre sans soufre ajouté.
Les papilles sont déjà toutes émoustillées.

Benoit and Philmari pack up the sold works and take the rest back to their studio. The wine storehouse returns to its original function!
The vats are slowly emptying. Next to be bottled is Cyrus 2023, our Melon B. from our La Louée parcel, a cuvée aged in jars with no added sulfur.
Our taste buds are already tingling.

Sur le secteur de la Ville au Blanc, le paysage a été au cœur de notre réflexion.
Avec la plantation de la P13 (pour les intimes ...), nous voyons l`ébauche que nous souhaitons implanter : boqueteaux, zone de prairie non fauchée, zone de prairie roulée au printemps, rang de vigne,...

In the Ville au Blanc sector, landscape was at the heart of our thinking.
With the planting of P13 (for those in the know ...), we see the outline we wish to implant: copses, an area of unmown meadow, an area of spring-rolled meadow, a row of vines,...

Sorgho et tournesol, graminée et pivot qui vont nous apporter leurs super pouvoirs de biomasse et de décompaction.
Ainsi, sur le secteur de la Ville au Blanc, les sols en attente de plantation sont complètement couverts et protégés pour l`été.
🇺🇸 At Les Trois Toits, we even sow our vines in the spring! 🌻
Sorghum and sunflowers, grasses and pivots that will bring us their super powers of biomass and decompaction.
